Last June we went to mt. Rushmore with my Grandma and Aunt Melissa. Mt. Rushmore is located in South Dakota and it took 5 hours to get there. When we got there the mountain was white because it was made out of granite, the creator picked granite because it was more durable.
The creator's name was Gutzon Borglum and he died before they finished.Fast fact: no one was killed during the creation of Mt. Rushmore. Gutzon Borglum also made a 12th scale model and I got to see it.
Before we left I got a jr. ranger badge in order to get your jr. ranger badge you have to fill in the booklet and do the pledge.

They had buffalo shaped crayon holders.
After the restaurant we went to the train tracks and explored and the tracks were really wide. 
We found a goat pen and when I tried to pet the goat I hit my head on the electric wire (there was no sign saying it was a electric wire) and it felt like hitting my head on a trampoline and bouncing back. 
We took a picture of me on a board.
Then we went on the train and saw cows.
After the cows we saw some other animals then the buffalo.
The buffalo came really close.
The train went into colarado then back into wyoming. 
Then we saw the chicken bus and after the train we left.
First animal we saw was the elephants, when we got to the elephants they were coming out and one (that I think is the mom) was eating hay.
Then we saw the monkeys (that were funny) and I took the picture.
We also saw the bears and it showed a bear 
Last we went on the carousel and I was on the cheetah.
